They pulled off one of the most magnificent great escape of all times by gettin a 2-2 draw after extra time when Doncaster shld have realli punished arsenal for sending a second-string side. I mean, let's face it. That was Arsenal's last attempt and Gilberto barely managed to scrape it thru. Then on penalties, Arsenal broke. WTH. Doncaster, for all their dogged determination and being able to capitalise on chances, didnt make it unfortunately. The successes of Wigan and West Ham has made me believe in miracles. In that the ball is round after all and there lies the chance for small teams to succeed. Yet none of this fairytale materialised. Wigan shld punish the Gunners in the semis if a second-string Arsenal side comes firin again.
