Lucky Gunners. Lol. They pulled off one of the most magnificent great escape of all times by gettin a 2-2 draw after extra time when Doncaster shld have realli punished arsenal for sending a second-string side. I mean, let's face it. That was Arsenal's last attempt and Gilberto barely managed to scrape it thru. Then on penalties, Arsenal broke. WTH. Doncaster, for all their dogged determination and being able to capitalise on chances, didnt make it unfortunately. The successes of Wigan and West Ham has made me believe in miracles. In that the ball is round after all and there lies the chance for small teams to succeed. Yet none of this fairytale materialised. Wigan shld punish the Gunners in the semis if a second-string Arsenal side comes firin again.

kk so i've been a little too slack these days coupled with the fact that i owe u guys way too many blog entries. btw the previous one's crap ;)

First and foremost, i am indeed proud of the United side which beat wigan and then aston villa consecutively and yes, goals are comin in plentifully for the red devils. Somehow i still feel that w.out smith the team wont be held back so much and wld start to score.Schmeichel was right in sayin that Park and Ronaldo and Ferdinand are nt long-term solutions. Something needs to be done in the jan transfer window. Seriously.

Went to J8 last tues with weilie and watched HP: Goblet of fire. May be a little too late to catch it but i didnt wanna miss it at all costs. Great movie, but the plot was ultra condensed till the story was too simplified and somewhat pointless at some points. Credits to effects though..its a job well done..better than the last 3 HP movies. Btw the question that has been constantly buggin me: Is emma watson realli that hot??!!

Campus superstar last 20 selection took place on that veri same day. Met renjie+his mom supportin his 4 frens of which 2 made it into the knockout rds (samuel tan and another gal). Talked abt superstar competitions and blah blah blah..then renjie mentioned that one of the youngest had to be a 13-yr old gal in brown uniform. Weilie noticed her but for some unforseen reasons, felt that the gal was givin him that *wth* look and he interpreted as though she was glarin at him for supposedly gossipin abt her. And then implicate me -_- I know this sounds strange but believe me...i wldnt believe it either. Neither wld Tim. Neither wld anyone in the right mind honestly.

So those 10 guys and gals who made it through were called out on stage and yes, for some unforseen reason again, weilie constantly bombarded me with chants of "Avoid the cameras!" and "Stay at the back!" o.O

For now, Man U must get past Wigan who recorded losses against powerhouses Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. Richardson may nt get his place in the England line-up but who cares? I have tried reading new genres these daes but with little success. 2 books which i have intended to start with are:

1. The curious incident of the dog in the night-time - Mark Haddon

OK so this book is kinda like some real-life account of a guy with a logical and simplistic mind. Kinda like literature too. Nt my type but will try though..

1. Crush Depth - Joe Buff

Set in world war situation with submarine attacks being the core of the plot or sth like tad. A series of world evenrs, military action...well 've nvr quite read anything like tad..

And for the 5 random/fun facts thing which i'm suppose to do, i guess i'll leave it till nxt wk cos i'll be away/busy again durin the wkends. Till then, i guess i'll have to think of wad stuff to write so u guys keep a look-out for it k. ;)

AS for the entry abt IJ ppl which i've promised b4 the Os but have yet failed to fulfill, i guess i may nvr have the chance to write it cos i lost the article havin left it aside for far too long. Askin IJ frens wld be too troublesome. Actually all i wanted was to quote the sayings/views of IJ gals lah and put it up to show how Catholic High, a supposedly tightly-bonded catholic family, pales in comparison to our sister school. For all those who dun watch soccer as in the Champions League or EPL or support Man Utd, you may skip this entry which may be of no interest to you at all :D

I have finally consolidated all my thoughts on why Man Utd feeps failing in succession, the latest being the horrendous defeat in the hands of Benifca, which saw them being thrown out of Europe altogether. I have always wanted to write this entry but shelved the idea until the Benfica match became the trigger factor which prompted me to pen it down NOW.

oh man...let's jus pray for a miracle to happen in like 7 hrs' time. Man Utd desperately need to qualify to knock-out stages of the Champions League, not merely for the prize money though its a fantastic bonus but more importantly for the prestige of it all. Against Benfica, it's definitely gonna be do or die. Oh crap...its not like such an uphill task rite? ...Jus prayin tad man utd gets pass this whole mess asap :[

Sometimes things jus go against ur way. I cant explain it realli, havin all 3 GONG JIAO debaters enterin the top 10 best speakers of the tournament yet ironically nt gettin our hands on the trophy. Yet another semi-final doesnt look gd at all. At the end of the day, we still gotta live with it.
